St Pancras International - A London landmark
St Pancras International is now the starting point for High Speed 1 – the UK’s first high-speed line linking the centre of London with Continental high-speed lines.
When Eurostar launched their services on 14 November 2007 from St Pancras International it marked a new era for international train travel. The station is a London landmark – a place for people to visit even if they don’t have a train to catch.
Europe’s first destination station will have a world-class brasserie, arcade shopping and a daily farmer’s market selling the very best, fresh British and continental produce. And to add a little sparkle to your day you will be able to visit 1868, Europe’s longest champagne bar, which overlooks the hustle and bustle of the platforms.
with six underground lines and seven rail companies operating from St Pancras International, King’s Cross and nearby Euston.
Ebbsfleet - Eurostar's New Station
Where and what is Ebbsfleet?
Ebbsfleet is the brand new Eurostar station located close to the M25 & Dartford River Crossing in North Kent, right in the heart of the Thames gateway area.
Combined with the already established Ashford International, Ebbsfleet station serves the South East England with seamless, hassle free access to the new Eurostar High Speed 1 service which will commence at St Pancras, which is already on track to become the fastest way to travel to Europe.
So why travel from/to Ebbsfleet?
- It’s less than 3 miles from Junction 2 of the M25, and close to the M2, M20 and A2.
